We want you to love everything you buy. If something isn't right, we'll make it right.
At SecondEdition we sell factory seconds and pre-loved branded items. We describe every item honestly using our condition grading system and provide clear photos before you buy. We want you to feel confident shopping with us — and if something genuinely isn't right, we'll always do our best to sort it.
This policy applies to all purchases made through our website. It does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
You may return most items within 14 days of receiving your order, provided the following conditions are met:

Returning an item is straightforward. Just follow these steps:
Email us at hello@secondedition.co.uk with your order number and the reason for your return. Please include photos if the item is faulty or not as described. We aim to respond within one working day.
Once we've approved your return, we'll email you a return label. Please note that return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty, not as described, or the wrong item was sent.
Please pack the item carefully in its original packaging where possible, or in suitable packaging to prevent damage in transit. Attach the return label clearly to the outside.
Drop your parcel at the nearest collection point indicated on your return label. Keep your proof of postage receipt until your refund has been processed.
Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your refund within 5 working days. You'll receive a confirmation email when it's been issued.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Please allow the following timescales once we have confirmed your refund:
If your item arrived damaged in transit or was not as described, we will refund the full order value including your original delivery charge. For change-of-mind returns, your original delivery charge is not refunded.
Because our stock is made up of individual one-off items — factory seconds and pre-loved pieces — we are often unable to offer a direct exchange for the same item in a different size or colour.

In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged, faulty, or is not the item you ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will resolve the issue promptly.

All items on SecondEdition are graded using our three-tier condition system. It is important to read and understand these grades before purchasing, as minor imperfections noted in the grade description are a known and accepted feature of the item — not grounds for return.
If an item's actual condition is significantly worse than the grade and description stated in the listing, this is grounds for a return and full refund. If you have any questions about a specific item's condition before purchasing, please contact us.
This policy is in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
